Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Christin Rutley Method?

CRM is a blend of functional movements, barre, mat pilates, hiit & flow morphed into one vibey workout designed to rip your body to shreds, creating long lean muscles.

What should i bring (or not bring) to class?
  • Wear athletic clothing that you can move in and your body can breathe– but not too loose or baggy,  instructor needs to be able to see your alignment and form for safety.
  • Grip socks are required and available for purchase at the studio.
  • Water is available for purchase at the studio.
  • This workout will make you sweat, so bring a hand towel.
  • Please keep loose jewelry at home & kindly refrain from wearing strong perfume, lotions & oils.
How often should I practice barre?

The method is designed to work your entire body to muscle fatigue– to the point you will  desperately need to rest. Depending on your own personal fitness level and the intensity of your workout, you will need more or less time to recover. We recommend 3-4x per week to allow your body proper recovery time, but some clients love the workout so much that they come in 5+ times a week! You must have body awareness and listen to your body to find a routine that works best for you personally.

How do I schedule a class?
We have a user-friendly and secure software system to assist you with reserving your sessions. Click on the Arketa link here. It is the easiest, fastest, and most simple way to book classes. You can create your account and use it to schedule, purchase and track your visit history. We highly recommend booking/reserving your sessions online or by using the Arketa app.
The class I want is full. Should I get on the waitlist?

We definitely recommend doing so! Not only will you have better luck getting into a class, it also helps us know where we need to add classes. When a class reads “6 Reserved, 0 Open” add yourself to the list by clicking “Sign Up Now!” it will ask you if you want to join the waitlist and tell you which number you are on the waitlist.

Once we are within 12 hours of the start of a class, the waitlist locks and will not automatically add you into the class. If someone late cancels within 12 hours before a class start time the system will not automatically put you in the class. You have to sign in and check the system to add yourself if a spot becomes available.  The system will never put you into the class less than 12 hours prior to the start of the class, that way you don’t lose any classes or incur a charge

Will my spot be given away if I'm late to class?

Yes. We ask that you arrive on time in an effort to respect other clients.  Often times, clients will drop in to see if someone doesn’t show, allowing them a spot in the class. If you do not arrive by the time class starts, your spot may be given to someone who is present & waiting.

Are my purchases refundable or transferable?

All purchases are final, and non-transferable. Some of our memberships require signing a contract for auto-payments. Please make sure that you look these over carefully and fully understand the rules before signing them.

Is there an age requirement to take a class?

Yes, due to insurance reasons you must be at least 14 years old to participate in a class. If you are between 14-18 years old, a parent or legal guardian will need to accompany you to your first class to sign a liability waiver for you.

What's your late policy?

You must arrive 15 minutes ahead of class time.  We will hold your spot 5 minutes before class starts, and then will give this to first on the waitlist who is present.  For an early cancel on your reservation, please give us 12 hours notice to avoid losing a class or receiving a late penalty. If you are on a class pack, your late penalty results in class lost. If you are on a recurring membership, you will be charged a $29 no show fee and a $20 late cancel fee. All class packages expire 3 months from the date of purchase.
